Ramen is a Japanese variant of noodle soup and despite my previous experience with the noodle soup at the airport I had to test a real ramen restaurant. And what a difference - of course.
I asked a girl on the street who seemed familiar with the district if she
could recommend a good ramen place and she did happily. I followed her directions to the ramen place Ippudo and ordered a ramen with super-thin noodles, eggs and pork.
Excellent! Perfect medium cooked noodles (yes they asked how I wanted them) and superb pork.
To the soup a lot of small flavors such as pickled ginger, kimschi and sesame seeds. Yum!
